The hot air seam sealing machines applies waterproof tape along the seam edges of garments. To ensure proper operation, routine maintenance is essential.

Operating Procedures:

1. Verify air compressor input pressure. Adjust pressure to 4–6 kg/cm², with working pressure set at 3.5 kg/cm².

2. Connect power supply. Turn on the main power switch, then activate the control panel switch. Press the left foot pedal switch. Check if the upper pressure roller moves smoothly. Adjust the dovetail groove and the three right-side set screws. Regulate air pressure using the two flow restrictors on the upper cylinder.

3. Listen for impact sounds. Adjust the buffer screw on the upper cylinder until the upper roller operates smoothly.

4. Check if the air gun swings smoothly. Adjust the two flow restrictors on the air gun cylinder. Adjust the height of the air gun by adjusting the front plate, side plates, and lifting plate. Align the nozzle with the pressure rollers. The nozzle should be positioned 5–8 mm above the tangent of the two pressure rollers and 3–5 mm from the rollers. If the nozzle vibrates, adjust the cylinder flow restrictor and shock absorber.

5. Adjustment Timing System: a. Adjusts the pressing time of the upper roller and the rolling time of the upper and lower rollers; b. Adjusts the duration of the shears cutting the tape; c. Adjusts the length of automatic tape feeding after the shears cut the tape; d. Adjusts the synchronization time between the air gun swing-in and the rotation of the upper and lower rollers; e. Adjusts the slight retraction time of the lower roller after the air gun swings out; f. Adjusts the duration the fan continues supplying air to the heating wire after power is turned off;

6. Ensure the fan is operating normally before pressing the heating switch; otherwise, the heating element may burn out. Verify the air damper is open. When shutting down, first turn off the heating switch, then the power switch, and confirm the fan continues running for at least three minutes.
