1. Troubleshooting Tips for Common Issues

  • Poor Bonding (Insufficient Adhesion):First, verify if the temperature meets the adhesive film's melting requirements. If insufficient, increase the temperature and wait for stabilization. Next, confirm if pressure is evenly applied—adjust cylinder pressure or replace worn rollers. Finally, inspect the adhesive strip for expiration or abnormal melting; promptly replace with a qualified strip.

  • Wrinkling or Misalignment at Bonding Point: First, clean contaminants or adhesive residue from conveyor rollers/belts to prevent material slippage. Next, verify conveyor speed is not excessive and reduce as needed. Finally, adjust the guide mechanism to ensure material alignment and prevent misalignment during transport.

  • Abnormal Equipment Noise: First, power down and inspect rollers/bearings for wear or binding; apply lubricant. Next, check if the belt is loose or misaligned; adjust tension or correct position. If motor noise occurs, it may indicate damaged motor bearings requiring immediate replacement.

  • Temperature Control Failure (No Heating/Overheating): For no heating, first check heating elements for open circuits; replace damaged elements. For overheating, troubleshoot thermostat malfunctions by calibrating or replacing the PLC temperature control module; simultaneously clean dust from ventilation ports to ensure proper heat dissipation.

  • Adhesive strip clogging/breakage: First, shut down and cool the machine, then clean solidified adhesive residue from the heating channel; subsequently, inspect the adhesive strip conveying path for obstructions and adjust roller pressure to prevent strip breakage due to compression.

2. Key Points for Daily Preventive Maintenance

  • Daily Maintenance: Before startup, verify temperature, pressure, and speed parameters are normal. After shutdown, promptly clean adhesive residue from heating plates, rollers, and conveyor belts using specialized cleaner to prevent buildup affecting bonding quality.

  • Weekly Maintenance: Lubricate moving components including roller bearings, motor bearings, and cylinder connecting rods. Check belt tension and adjust if loose; verify responsiveness of safety devices (emergency stop, over-temperature alarm).

  • Monthly Maintenance: Calibrate thermostat and pressure gauge accuracy to ensure precise parameters; inspect heating tubes and wiring connections for aging or loosening, tighten or replace as needed; clean internal dust, especially from the cooling system, to ensure unobstructed heat dissipation.

3. Maintenance Precautions

  • Always disconnect power and allow equipment to cool before servicing to prevent burns or electric shock. Label disassembled components for easy reassembly.

  • When replacing critical parts like heating elements or temperature control modules, prioritize genuine manufacturer parts to ensure compatibility and stability.

  • Document each fault type, resolution method, and replaced components in a maintenance log for rapid troubleshooting of similar issues.
